Who we are

Culturis is an Ottawa company. This page explains what culturis.ca collects, why, who receives it, and how to reach us about it. It covers this website only. Each of our platforms runs on its own site.

What we collect

• When you write to us through the contact form: your name, your email, your organization if you give one, the reason you chose, and your message.
• When you join the newsletter: your email address.
• When you visit: which pages you read, how you arrived, the type of device and your approximate city, through Google Analytics. Our server also keeps standard logs (IP address, browser and time of visit) for security.

Cookies

Google Analytics sets two cookies, _ga and one starting with _ga_, that last up to two years. They tell us how many people visit and which pages they use. They do not tell us your name or your email.

This site sets no other cookies.

Who receives it

• Our team, by email, when you use the contact form. Messages are also kept on our server so none are lost.
• Brevo, which runs our mailing lists. Contact form senders and newsletter subscribers are stored there.
• Google, for Google Analytics, and for the typefaces this site uses (your browser asks Google for them).
• Rebel.com, which hosts this website in Canada.

We do not sell your information.

Your choices

You can block or clear cookies in your browser. This site works without them.

You can stop Google Analytics on every site with Google’s opt-out add-on, at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

Every newsletter has an unsubscribe link.

See or delete your information

To see what we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted, write to us through the contact page or at hello@culturis.ca. We reply within 30 days.

You can also contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada at priv.gc.ca.

Changes

If what we collect changes, we update this page and the date at the top.
